*low grade poor quality photo time!* I dunno how or why but my ass is smattered in bruises! In fact a lot of my body has lots of little bruises all over? I’m trying to recollect how or why and only thing I can come up with was maybe it all happened during that hardcore hike i went on at top of week?? I counted them: 29 visible bruises on my butt, arms, legs. I am obviously a delicate piece of fruit, and bruise easily.

**HAPPY SPRING EQUINOX.** Spring equinox means the days are getting warmer and the sun is out longer. I woke up today needing to touch the earth; so I rented a car, drove an hour and went on a very difficult, very steep…2.5 mile hike down onto a secluded pebble beach. all white stone pebbles, no sand. The intention was to make content, snap a few nudes in nature etc. **This slice of the Portuguese coastline is called “Costa Azul” …the blue coast.** For good reason…the water was an intense deep blue and absolutely crystal clear! I decided not make content. It felt important to put away my gear, all that heavy shit in hauled miles down a dangerous cliff (and back up) in favor of being present inside my body and with nature vs. trying to sexualize the moment. I wanted to fully appreciate it. The sun on my skin, the sound of the pebbles underfoot, how cold the Atlantic water was, how special this tiny hidden gem at the base of the cliffs above me. I wanted to just be with myself and the ocean. On one hand this is my job, today was supposed to be a workday. But as content creators, it’s difficult to switch back n’ forth between literally any-and-every-moment being a ‘content opportunity’ and the lines of personal life / autonomy and life experiences get blurred. maybe there’s a way I can explore ideas around sharing more of my life here, without feeling like I’m doing something contrived by filming it. Something for me to think on 🤍 Not for nothing though…*I did swim naked.* You’ll have to Use your imagination for that ;)

You cannot possibly fathom how much physical strength and mental fortitude goes into professional photoshoots. I know most men on the internet think *taking pictures is easy or modeling isn’t a “real job”*. Those fools would be wrong. My fitness tracker told me that during my photo shoot days, I was burning 3200 calories per day through posing. Read that again. That’s insanity!! For comparison: my BMR (Basel metabolic rate, the calories a human burns by just being alive) is 1700 calories per day currently. On days I workout, I usually burn 2350 calories total in a day. For more scale comparison: I’m an ex-athlete body builder. Back then on days I used to **lift heavy at gym**, I’d maaaaaybe burn a total of 2600-2700 calories. That was going balls-to-the-wall, lifting hundreds of pounds for dozens of reps across multiple exercises. I was a beast. As a pique fitness athlete, my calorie expenditure rarely crossed 2900 calories. And yet, this weekend I was wearing bikinis and dresses and burned 3200 calories each day of photoshoot. That should tell you how strenuous photoshoots are on the body. Arching backs is hard werk. BASICALLY: My body and brain are now mush. **BUT ya know what????** I think we got itttttttttt!!!
