Added 2023-03-20 22:26:39 +0000 UTC**HAPPY SPRING EQUINOX.** Spring equinox means the days are getting warmer and the sun is out longer. I woke up today needing to touch the earth; so I rented a car, drove an hour and went on a very difficult, very steep…2.5 mile hike down onto a secluded pebble beach. all white stone pebbles, no sand. The intention was to make content, snap a few nudes in nature etc. **This slice of the Portuguese coastline is called “Costa Azul” …the blue coast.** For good reason…the water was an intense deep blue and absolutely crystal clear! I decided not make content. It felt important to put away my gear, all that heavy shit in hauled miles down a dangerous cliff (and back up) in favor of being present inside my body and with nature vs. trying to sexualize the moment. I wanted to fully appreciate it. The sun on my skin, the sound of the pebbles underfoot, how cold the Atlantic water was, how special this tiny hidden gem at the base of the cliffs above me. I wanted to just be with myself and the ocean. On one hand this is my job, today was supposed to be a workday. But as content creators, it’s difficult to switch back n’ forth between literally any-and-every-moment being a ‘content opportunity’ and the lines of personal life / autonomy and life experiences get blurred. maybe there’s a way I can explore ideas around sharing more of my life here, without feeling like I’m doing something contrived by filming it. Something for me to think on 🤍 Not for nothing though…*I did swim naked.* You’ll have to Use your imagination for that ;)
