day 1 was a success!!
got a late start driving, which ended up being a massive blessing because I was able to get this waterfall all to myself despite it being a popular tourist attraction (if you haven’t been able to tell already, I’m a big waterfall fan😂)🤩
I stayed the night in a beautiful homestay in the middle of the jungle overlooking the highest peak in thailand💚 the village here on top of the mountain was so small, but the people were so friendly and kind

I’m going back to america next week, so I’m ending my time on a high note by going on a motorbike trip through the mountains and into the jungle🤗
being in the city has been great, but I’m really excited to get out and be in the more remote areas of thailand🌿
traveling on a motorbike makes the experience even more special, you’re able to take in so much more of your surroundings and realize how small we are in comparison to the earth. there’s really no better way to travel southeast asia 🤩
