Believe it or not, I received this item as a gift from my friend. I totally forgot that it had liquid in it, and it was in my backpack when I tried to pass the airport security. The agent got it out of my bag, and pressed on play to see what it was LOL! He still ended up throwing it away though :( He did offer me to go back and check it in as a luggage...for $50! LOL Here's the only memory I have left of it now haha

It's allegedly Blue Monday today, or as some say, the saddest day of the year. Let's change our mind and head back to traveling all together to Banff. On my way back from Lake Louise, I decided to stop once again to Banff. This time, I decided to try what they call the Banff Gondolas. I know, I know, they didn't revolutionize anything. You sit in a chair lift, you get up the mountain, and look at the view. In that case, the view, as most of the views on that trip, was absolutely out of this world. At the top, you can walk around the round platform and check out the interpretation center. There's also an excellent cafeteria buffet (hey, that was 2019, when life was still normal! A buffet in 2021...LOL!). Wait a minute, I say excellent, but I haven't tasted any food there! LOL! But the reviews were good, lol I ended up eating at the sit-down restaurant. LOOK AT THIS VIEW! (flip the pictures if you don't see them yet). The food was succulent and not overpriced considering that there wasn't any Tim Hortons or Mcdonalds anywhere close to other options! I also ended up taking some topless pictures on my way back, even though we kept crossing people who were going up! I can't find those pictures right now. I'll have a better look, and if I find them, I'll share them with you tomorrow. Well, ladies and gents, that ends our trip to Banff. This week, we'll round up our trip by talking a little more about Calgary and Edmonton. Calgary is about 2 hours east of Banff, while Edmonton is 3 hours north of Calgary. I haven't stayed in either city that long (3 days each town), and was busy partying with a friend in Edmonton, but I still have some exciting things to share with you! Once this week is over, we'll have pretty much covered everything interesting in Alberta. Next week, I think that we should travel together to someplace in Europe. To be continued...!

Morning ! As some of you know, I have integrated meditation practice in my life for the past month. It changed so many things for me, all for the better. I decided to use a spare room that only had a bunch of crap in it, and turn it into a zen room where electronics will be forbidden. I want to get back to reading, relaxing, and just focus on expanding my brain and thoughts. You can laugh, but it works for me :) In those uncertain times, we all need to find ways to stay calm, and this is mine. First step, applying wallpaper. I’ve never done it before, but here’s the preview! It’s only a computer generated preview, I still have to receive it! But I love how it looks! I’ll keep you updated once I get it :)

On my way back from Lake Louise, I stopped to Banff town once again. Here's a preview picture of the marvellous spot I found. Last night, I ended up watching the movie A Nice Girl Like You (it's on Netflix). I had watched the trailer a few days ago after seeing it trend on my Twitter. It wasn't trending for the right reasons (critics aren't that good), BUT it had Lucy Hale in it, and it involved sex, so it intrigued me. I've always been a fan of Lucy Hale since her days in Pretty Little Liars. I know, most of you, if not all of you, haven't watched that TV show, lol, but still, I think she's cute as fuck, funny and I love her awkward facial expressions. I needed something light that didn't require a lot of thinking after a long day of work and a crazy start of 2021. It was just what the doctor ordered :) Nothing too dramatic, just a simple comedy with a few good laughs. Don't we have enough drama on the news and all the social media lately? Fuck politics and covid. Can I enjoy entertainment without having to think about our world going to shit? Heck, you can't watch a basketball game anymore without being free of either political or covid talk. Even Grey's Anatomy focuses on Covid this season. Anyhow, I loved the film, and while it won't win any Oscars, I recommend it! If you ever want to see how lips react to erection creams... LOL! This is the movie for you! Strippers, sex shop, dildos, and brothels in the same film, what can go wrong, right? ;)

It seems like instead of snow, Mother nature is emptying her entire bladder all over us today! Heck, by the end of the day, we might not even have any snow left. It's kind of funny as only 1.5 hours away from where I live, they are currently being covered with a substantial white coat of snow. While we are on the snow subject, let's head back to our Lake Louise / Banff story. On my second day, I went on a snowshoeing expedition in the mountain. It was so much fun. Did you know that the snow I was walking on was up to 6 feet deep (2 meters)? Without snowshoes, forget it, you're drowning! We followed the pathways, to begin with, and get used to the snowshoes. The last time I had done any was back in high school, back around when I was 15 or so. It was pretty easy. The fun part starts when you get out of the pathways and go full-on gonzo style. We got down the mountain through the forest. We had no idea where we were heading, but that's a good thing about mountains, if you go down, you go in the right direction! Funny side story (once again). One of the guys thought that snowshoeing would be a walk in the park. On his FIRST step, he put the feet on a frozen fallen tree. He fell to the ground and, have you ever laid in 6 feet of snow, slowly drowning in it? The more you fight through it like a moron without technique, the more you drown. OMG, it was hilarious. The guide told him to turn around to help himself as his snowshoes were facing uphill. Facing downhill would be way easier. Instead of turning this way, he turned from his back to his belly LOL, so he was face down in the snow, swearing and yelling at the snow. After 10 minutes, he was able to get up, and he spent the next 10 minutes saying, "I fucking hate snowshoeing" while going down the mountain! LOL This was an enjoyable activity. I had one or two many drinks the night before, so I ended up sweating my hangover. What a real Canadian I am! Haha! I'm still not done sharing stories about this marvelous landscape.
