* You can read older posts if you want to catch up on this adventure* On my second morning in Lake Louise, I trekked through Johnson Canyon to a world of frozen waterfalls and pillars of blue ice. If you ever decide to go through this adventure, make sure you have ice cleats and bring some coffee and snacks once you reach the Upper Falls. You can probably feel the tranquil beauty in the pictures I've posted. The sweeping panoramas and soaring peaks can't be beaten! I was lucky that day, it wasn't that cold, and it was an enjoyable morning. We left around 7 in the morning and had to drive 30 minutes to get there. Side story. Once we left on that hike, one member of our group was, how could I say that... she had the body shape of Frosty the Snowman. There's nothing wrong with this, but maybe an Ice trek that goes from a lower fall to an upper fall (that means a LOT of climbing with the ice cleats!) wasn't the best idea for a vacation. Anyhow, halfway through, we had to abandon her as she couldn't keep going. Her hubby, an ex-professional soccer player, just left her there and said, "goodbye, honey. I'll see you later," LOL! How romantic! Anyhow, about 90 minutes later or more likely 2 hours later, we get back to where we had left her. She starts telling the guide how excited she was to ski for the first time tomorrow. Guide: So, you've never skied? Her: No, but how hard can it be? Guide: You couldn't do this hike, you might want to try a skiing beginners class first. Her: I'll be okay. It's just going down a hill, it can't be that bad. Guide: I don't think you know how gravity works, uh? * cricket sounds * Oh god, I can only imagine the spectacle it must have been if she indeed ended up going! LOL

We keep exploring Lake Louise today. As a true Canadian, and as a real slut (I guess I could say a Canadian slut), I had to take a picture outside with a cleavage! WHAT? YOU GOT WHAT? See, they should have given that virus a much scarier name. Uh, interesting. Just googled it, and it's 600 islands, 100K population, and it's so small that Google Map points to something somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, but you can barely see anything. See, micropenis wasn't that far off! Weren't we talking about Lake Louise? I got distracted, as always. As you will notice, if you keep flipping the pictures, you will see that the view wasn't only splendid from my room. The restaurants all have a fabulous view of the lake and mountains. The common areas of the hotel are so luxurious and exciting. However, when you get to your room, it's a whole other story. You walk in the hallway, and you feel like you're in Wonderland. You get into your room, and you have traveled in time, 40 years before, and you are now in a Super 8 Motel. I'll admit that Super 8 Motel has a hell of a view this time. But, still. The room didn't smell fresh. The decor was older than the USA presidential candidates of the last four years (and probably had the same smell). You definitely pay for the location, the view, and if you're a cam whore as truly yours, you don't waste time doing videos in that room. It's just not worth it. I instead spent time doing videos in the restaurant bathrooms, but that's another story LOL! Okay, I should wrap this up. Tomorrow, we're going hiking together guys! Put on your crampons. We're going to walk on a frozen waterfall, and we'll make it our bitch, the Canadian way! Toodles!

Good morning lovelies! We start the day with a story about Lake Louise. I am posting a few pictures, but there will be much more as this place takes your breath away. Get ready for the perfect winter scenery! Lake Louise is pretty famous for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a luxurious chateau. It's about an hour past Banff (the post I made two days ago! You can go back and see that badass burger I had). The drive is easy unless you are hit with the Mother's Nature version of a bukakake: crazy winds, snow, and some wet ice. Luckily, the drive was smooth and easy. Oh, except the rock I received, and that cracked my windshield. It was a rented car, and one month earlier, my own windshield got broken by a rock too! 2019 was a bad year for windshields. Oh god, I remember these times when a cracked windshield was ruining my day. Heck, in 2020, a cracked windshield would have been a walk in the park compared to everything else, LOL Let's focus back on Lake Louise. On that trip, I was staying three nights at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. These pictures are actually from when I got there on the first day. As you can see with the mountains in the background, it's lovely. The Chateau isn't as great as it sounds. It looks freaking fantastic from the outside, but when you get inside, things weren't as fabulous. It was comparable to a guy showing off his six pack but being a complete moron. But I will be reviewing the Chateau in another post. I went snowshoeing and hiked at iced falls. Stay tuned. I will share every single detail in the upcoming days. I have hundreds of pictures to share, so I need to sort through those first! Have a lovely day, everyone! As promised, we're traveling to Canada today, my native and homeland :) We're visiting one of the country's most popular destinations among international tourists during wintertime, Banff !!! Oh, and I was there in December 2019. Stop messaging me "enjoy your trip" to gain cuteness points, for fuck sake. It's a Covid world right now, and there's no way I could visit all those places or even be in those fully packed indoor spots! LOL I've said it in every post that those are old trips! The only thing you do is prove you're not reading the post, haha. Let's focus on the pictures now :) They were taken in the middle of this small town. Can you see how gorgeous the view of the mountains is? God, I remember how FREEZING it was! -23C ! For those who didn't know, Banff is a "resort" town in Alberta. It is located within Banff National Park. The mountains you see all over my pictures are the Rocky Mountains :) Yes, there are elk, grizzlies, and a bunch of other wildlife around. From what I was told, it isn't rare to see one of them walking through town from time to time. Although only about 7,000 people are living there, the town gets CRAZY busy with tourism! Let's say that it isn't Covid friendly during the holidays or in the summertime! As you will see in my burger picture, I found, in my opinion, the best burger place around there. It's called Eddie Burger & Bar. They have elk patties, bison patties, and all their beef patties are made 100% with Alberta beef, one of the best beef in Canada! I tried the rocky mountain, and it was to die for. Elk patty, blueberry chutney, cheddar, romaine lettuce, sautéed onion, mayo, served on a brioche bun. SAY WHAAAATTTTTT! I SWEAR, elk patty is delicious! lol They also got a milkshake bar, local beer, and some nice cocktails! You need calories to stay warm, and this was definitely a good place to do so! :) Lastly, I stopped at Banff Park Distillery. What can warm you up better than hard liquor? I've visited countless distilleries all over that world, and to be honest, I would skip that one if I was you. It was good to warm me up, but that's about it, LOL I ended up walking around town for an hour, admiring the boutiques' architecture that looks like mini castles. Laughed at all the cliche gift shops. Man, they aren't original! But I had a good time overall! I was only there for half a day on my way to Lake Louise. This is for today.
