He is 22 years old, lives in Gualeguaychú and is in the fifth year in law university. At the same time, he is a “sexual content creator” and is among the 1.1% of the people who earn the most money in the world on the only platform that allows you to upload explicit sexual content. “I came to break the norm,” he says.
It is Holy Thursday, before easters, and there is no soul in Buenos Aires City. Marco goes down to open the door, smiles in the distance and greets with a hug. He is 22 years old and has just arrived from Gualeguaychú, where he was born and where he is about to finish his law study. He is the son of lawyers and is also the brother of a priest of the Catholic Church. He has a black jean, a white t-shirt and speaks in a warm way and, at first glance, it could be just that: one more piece of a traditional family puzzle.
The biceps that appears under the white t-shirt, however, give the first clues to take the detail. No, this is not the classic story of the boy who kills himself in the gym to do a rite of worship around his body: the thickness of his fingers and the squaring of his back are due to the fact that, before being what he is today, Marco was three times Pan American Martial Arts champion, with the Argentine National Team.
“What it is today” is precisely the center of this story: the story of a guy who left the law firm in which he was stepping on family footprints and became the creator of his own virtual sexual content. For just over a year he has been producing and starring in his porn videos and is loved in Only Fans, the only social network that allows you to upload explicit sexual content and generate profits in dollars.
Why loved? “Because I do porn with girls, with boys and with girls and boys at the same time. In other words, I do bisexual porn, the eternal forgotten,” he tells to Infobae the same time he caresses his cat, which was waved in his pubis. Then he begins to tell details about his life: how did he start? How did he tells his family? What about his daughter? How much can earn in a bad month? And in a good one? What if he regrets it?
The way of the champion
At the age of 7, when most boys and girls are in second grade, Marco started “the way of the champion.” He was a crack in Taekwondo ITF, so he began to compete and at 12, and he became Argentine champion for the first time, a direct ticket to the Argentine National Team.
“I spent five years in the National Team and competed in three Pan American Championships: In Paraguay 2014, in Argentina 2016, and in Brazil 2018. And I was the Pan American champion on all three occasions: yes, triple gold medal.”
His idea was never to do “one thing or the other” but rather the “double life,” Marco began studying Law at the University of Concepción del Uruguay, in Entre Ríos, while he was a high-performance athlete. Last year, however, “the champion’s way” was interrupted: a triple rupture of the ligaments of the right knee left him off the tracks.
The injury did not take him in bewilderment, because at the age of 17 Marco had opened a third door: modeling. Did he want to be a model, then? No. But posing ended up being the guide that led him to the first total nude and, later, to porn.
“I didn’t really see myself being a model. Beyond the fact that things changed a lot, I was a very shy kid,” says he, who knows that it is difficult to imagine him shy, especially if you have already put his war name on social networks (Marco Maxxx) and watched any of his videos.
It was a friend who suggested him to make a portfolio, the famous “book”, and it was she who sent it to a fashion agency. The following week he was called to do an advertisement without T-shirt and only in jeans, and then a classic summer one, in a poll and with underwear. The point is that the photos exploded from likes on Instagram and Gualeguaychú was revolutionized:
“There I began to know the power that my image had,” he says, and marks a cross on the map of what was to come.
What followed in the chronology was a proposal to make a total nude: a session of artistic photos that were going to be exhibited in a famous Buenos Aires gallery. Marco accepted, but since he was supposed to one day be a lawyer (and in a city of less than 100,000 inhabitants), the photographer offered him to cover his face, remove his name, make his body unrecognizable.
“And I answered him, ‘No, forget it, this is me.’ Please, put my photo, my face, my name, and if you want, put my phone number on.”
During the weekend that followed the show, he received a second wave of job offers: “40, 50 proposals to advertise,” he lists. But when I thought I was surfing comfortably on the crest of the wave, boom: pandemic, and the world mutated to virtual. Therapy, gymnastics, meetings, birthdays went from live to zoom.
The cards were on the table, the advantage was evident: when sex also mutated to virtual, Marco already had more than 1,000 porn photos taken.
Another friend who knew Only Fans - where the vast majority are women, the so-called “virtual sex workers” - told him the magic words: “Marco, why don’t you make a Only about yourself? You upload your photos and let it work alone, people will love it.”
Marco didn’t know anything about it, but he still did. “The pandemic began on March 20, on March 29 I had uploaded 100 photos. I set the minimum subscription: five dollars,” he continues. “It wasn’t very strategic, I should have uploaded them little by little, but I didn’t know how to use the platform,” analyzes him, who now, just a year and month later, leads a team made up of seven other people who works for him.
“I forgot that I had uploaded them and a month later my friend asks me: ‘Ey, and how did you go with Only?’ When I entered I had a lot of fans, a lot of money had been generated like that, still.” It was 2021, Marco was in the fourth year of law, and he had $80,000 ARS to collect.
“For me it was categorical. What I had generated in that month simply having uploaded the photos without a lot of work, without advertising, without strategy and without knowing what it was, was more than what I was earning per month working every day from 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon in the law firm, and after that teaching martial arts at the same time.”
Those 80,000 of a year ago are, in their numbers today, coins, because at the moment Marco is within 1.1% of those who earn best in Only Fans worldwide.
Dad, Mom, I have to tell you something:
The floor already existed: there were subscribers who paid, month by month, 5 dollars to see the videos and photos that he was uploading. Those subscribers today are about 1,700, which means that they receive about 8,500 fixed dollars per month. The subscription is cheap compared to other profiles, and there is a logic there, in the old trick of the “Free Ladies”: once inside, they want more.
“On that floor you have to increase by 50, 100, 200% of what you generate within the platform with photos, personalized videos or a live one,” he explains. Marco - who is bisexual and likes to explore so much in the confines of sexualities that he swears that he would even do it for free - started making these videos on demand.
For example, someone commissioned him a video in which he had sex with a man and a girl at the same time but that both supporting actors were bottom. Or someone with a fetish with scissors asked him, naked, to say to the camera: “I’m going to cut all my hair.” for 500usd.
He knows that it was not very difficult for any of those videos to leave the networks, jump from phone to phone and reach those of his family, Marco decided to anticipate and talk to his family members.
“For me, one of the fundamental values is to be able to be sincere. In addition, I believe that sexuality should already be taken in a more natural way. So what I said is ‘what I will do with this?’ Because it is shocking, especially for those who loves me. And I said ‘what I have to do is say it’. Then I grabbed and sat my brother on a chair...my brother is a priest of the Catholic Church,” he says, and laughs a lot.

Marco smiles lovingly when he talks about him: “It’s beautiful,” he says later. “We have indeasurable differences that define us and often oppose us, but I deeply respect his faith, his beliefs and his way of living life, and he also mine,” he explains.

How? "My content breaks the rules. Clearly it's not a heterosexual or gay content. I make different kind of porn: from bisexual to gay and hetero porn too."
Here's where he marks a thick line between the mainstream industry porn - directed by international productions - and the "self- management porn" as he makes, without a boss but with different stories to tell.
"The industry porn shows you a patriarchal content where men denigrate women, or a plastic-gay content. Bisexual community is forgotten from this industry." Describes "I know bisexual porn exists and there are a men with two women, that's an acceptable fantasy but there isn't porn where a man has equal sexual relationships as with a woman."
Marco knows that this, specifically, gave him a "competitive advantage" in Only Fans. "A woman can only sell content to heterosexual men, they're the only ones who pay for this, women don't pay for this. From 100 people who buy erotic videos to woman, 99 are men."
The equation is simple: "I make videos where I have sex from one to many women. So those heterosexuals who buy girls' videos can buy me too. I also make videos with men, that's why gay people buy an important amount of content. As I have a lot of erotic content with men and women, bisexual community feel thankful for that."
Only Fans has 130 millions of users in the world and 20 millions of "creators" as Marco. "A lot of them but at this moment I have 2 competitors from the world bisexual porn: a Spanish man and an American."
Apart from the 150 videos, which you can watch paying $5 the subscription, in his profile there are another 300 productions which costs about $15 and $50 but you can unlock them: from feet videos to another kind of content. "A ten-minute video where I have to include the name's person it can cost $100. I've been asked for about 50 videos of this type."
Marco Maxxx is on seven platforms, that's why he needed to form a team: three community managers who make content too, they reply messages and receives requests, photographers, photo editors, etc.
"It's a full time work, something with these earnings is easy. I take the whole week to recording. We think about what we want as things goes on, for example, we made a porn video in Lollapalooza and another in McDonald's. We have some bizarre ones as in a helicopter. When we want to do it more "formal" we book a hotel, we must respond to an aesthetic format, the soap from your bathroom can't be seen in the video."
Marco knows it: with so many videos on the internet, the way he chose has no regrets. "It's a tattoo, i know it. I'm always conscious of the possibility of my repentance," says. "But I prefer living a life where I get older and I'm happy about everything I've done. I'd rather regret instead of thinking "what could have happened if...?"
His plan from the next year is to dedicate on doing international content and initiate a new different kind of content with other content creators - men and women - from the world self-management porn. If everything goes well, he will also throw the towel and will receive his lawyer certificate next year.

Tiene 22 años, vive en Gualeguaychú y está en quinto año de Derecho. A la vez, es “creador de contenidos sexuales” y está dentro del 1,1% de las personas que más dinero ganan en el mundo en la única plataforma que permite subir contenidos sexuales explícitos. “Vine a romper la norma”, dice.
Es Jueves Santo y no hay un alma en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Marco baja a abrir la puerta, sonríe a la distancia y saluda con un abrazo. Tiene 22 años y acaba de llegar de Gualeguaychú, donde nació y donde está a punto de terminar la carrera de Derecho. Es hijo de abogados y es, además, hermano de un sacerdote de la Iglesia Católica. Tiene un jean negro, una remera blanca y una tonada cálida y, a simple vista, podría ser solo eso: una pieza más de un tradicional rompecabezas familiar.
Los bíceps que asoman debajo de la remera blanca, sin embargo, dan las primeras pistas para tomar el desvío. No, no es ésta la clásica historia del pibe que se mata en el gimnasio para hacer un rito de adoración alrededor de su cuerpo: el grosor de los dedos y la cuadratura de la espalda se deben a que, antes de ser lo que es hoy, Marco fue tres veces campeón panamericano de artes marciales con la Selección Argentina.
“Lo que es hoy” es, precisamente, el carozo de esta historia: la historia de un joven que dejó el estudio jurídico en el que iba pisando las huellas familiares y se convirtió en creador de sus propios contenidos sexuales virtuales. Desde hace poco más de un año produce y protagoniza sus videos porno y es codiciado en Only Fans, la única red social que permite subir contenidos sexuales explícitos y generar ganancias en dólares.
¿Por qué codiciado? “Porque hago porno con chicas, con varones y con chicas y varones en simultáneo. O sea, hago porno bisexual, los eternos olvidados”, cuenta él a Infobae mientras acaricia al gato, que se le ovilló en el pubis. Después empieza a contar detalles su vida: ¿cómo empezó? ¿cómo se lo contó a su familia? ¿y a su hija? ¿cuánto puede ganar un mes malo? ¿y uno bueno? ¿y si se arrepiente?
El camino del campeón
A los 7 años, cuando la mayoría de los niños y niñas están en segundo grado, Marco arrancó “el camino del campeón”. Era un crack en Taekwondo ITF, por lo que empezó a competir y a los 12 se consagró campeón argentino por primera vez, un pasaje directo a la Selección Argentina.
“Estuve cinco años en la Selección y competí en tres Panamericanos. En el 2014 en Paraguay, en el 2016 en Argentina, y en el 2018 en Brasil. Y salí campeón panamericano en las tres oportunidades: sí, triple medalla de oro”.
Como su idea nunca fue hacer “o una cosa o la otra” sino más bien la “doble vida”, Marco empezó a estudiar Derecho en la Universidad de Concepción del Uruguay, en Entre Ríos, mientras era deportista de alto rendimiento. El año pasado, sin embargo, “el camino del campeón” se interrumpió: una triple ruptura de los ligamentos de la rodilla derecha lo dejó afuera de las pistas.
La lesión no lo zamarreó en el desconcierto, porque a los 17 años Marco había abierto una tercera puerta: el modelaje. ¿Quería ser modelo, entonces? No. Pero eso de posar terminó siendo el lazarillo que lo condujo hacia el primer desnudo total y, después, al porno.
“Yo realmente no me veía siendo modelo. Más allá de que las cosas cambiaron bastante, yo era un pibe muy tímido”, cuenta él, que sabe que es difícil imaginarlo tímido, más si ya pusiste su nombre de guerra en las redes (Marco Maxxx) y viste alguno de sus videos.
Fue una amiga quien le insistió para que se hiciera un portfolio, el famoso “book”, y fue ella quien lo mandó a una agencia de modas. A la semana siguiente lo llamaron para hacer una publicidad en cuero y en jeans y después otra de verano clásica, en una pileta en calzoncillos. La cuestión es que las fotos explotaron de likes en Instagram y Gualeguaychú se revolucionó:
“Ahí me empecé a dar cuenta del poder que tenía mi imagen”, dice, y marca una cruz en el mapa de lo que iba a venir.
Lo que siguió en la cronología fue una propuesta para hacer un desnudo total: una sesión de fotos artísticas que se iban a exponer en una famosa galería porteña. Marco aceptó, pero como se suponía que algún día iba a ser abogado (y en una ciudad de menos de 100.000 habitantes), el fotógrafo le ofreció taparle la cara, eliminar su nombre, volver su cuerpo irreconocible.
“Y yo le contesté: ‘No, ya está, éste soy yo’. Poné mi foto, mi cara, mi nombre, y si querés poné mi teléfono”.
Durante el fin de semana que siguió a la muestra recibió una segunda ola de ofertas laborales: “40, 50 propuestas para hacer publicidades”, enumera. Pero cuando creía estar surfeando cómodo en la cresta de la ola, bum: pandemia, y el mundo mutó a virtual. Terapia, gimnasia, reuniones, cumpleaños pasaron del vivo al zoom.
Las cartas estaban sobre la mesa, la ventaja era evidente: cuando el sexo también mutó a virtual, Marco ya tenía más de 1.000 fotos porno hechas.
Otra amiga que conocía Only Fans -donde la enorme mayoría son mujeres, las llamadas “trabajadoras sexuales virtuales”- le dijo las palabras mágicas: “Marco, ¿por qué no te hacés un Only? Subís tus fotos y lo dejás trabajar solo, a la gente va a gustar”.
Marco no sabía nada del tema pero igual lo hizo. “El aislamiento empezó el 20 de marzo, el 29 yo había subido 100 fotos. Puse la suscripción mínima: cinco dólares”, sigue él. “No fue muy estratégico, tendría que haberlas subido de a poco, pero no sabía usar la plataforma”, analiza él, que ahora, apenas un año y mes después, lidera un equipo formado por otras siete personas.
“Me olvidé que las había subido y al mes mi amiga me pregunta: ‘Che, ¿y cómo te fue con Only?’. Cuando entro tenía un montón de fans, se había generado un montón de plata así, quieto”. Era 2021, Marco estaba en cuarto año de Derecho, y tenía 80.000 pesos para cobrar.
“Para mí fue categórico. Lo que había generado en ese mes simplemente habiendo subido las fotos sin trabajar, sin publicidad, sin estrategia y sin saber lo que era, era más de lo que yo estaba ganando por mes trabajando todos los días de 7 de la mañana a 4 de la tarde en el estudio jurídico y dando clases de artes marciales al mismo tiempo”.
Esos 80.000 de hace un año son, en sus números de hoy, monedas, porque en este momento Marco está dentro del 1.1% de los que mejor ganan en Only Fans en todo el mundo.
Papá, mamá, les tengo que contar algo
El piso ya existía: había suscriptores que pagaban, mes a mes, 5 dólares para ver los videos y las fotos que él iba subiendo. Esos suscriptores son hoy unos 1.700, lo que significa que le entran unos 8.500 dólares fijos por mes. La suscripción es barata comparada con otros perfiles, y hay una lógica ahí, en el viejo truco del “Damas Gratis”: una vez adentro, quieren más.
“Sobre ese piso tenés que aumentar un 50, un 100, un 200% de lo que generás dentro de la plataforma con fotos, videos personalizados o un vivo”, explica. Marco -que es bisexual y le gusta tanto explorar en los confines de las sexualidades que jura que hasta lo haría gratis- empezó a hacer estos videos a pedido.
Por ejemplo, alguien le encargaba un video en el que tuviera sexo con un varón y una chica a la vez pero que ambos actores secundarios fueran pasivos. O alguien con algún fetiche con las tijeras le pedía que, desnudo, dijera a cámara: “Me voy a cortar todo el pelo”.
Consciente de que no era muy difícil que alguno de esos videos saliera de las redes, saltara de teléfono en teléfono y llegara a los de sus padres, Marco decidió anticiparse y hablar con su familia.
“Para mí unos de los valores fundamentales es el poder ser sincero. Además, yo creo que la sexualidad ya debería ser tomada de una manera más natural. Entonces lo que dije es ‘¿qué hago con esto?’. Porque es re fuerte, sobre todo para quienes me quieren. Y dije ‘lo que tengo que hacer es decirlo’. Entonces agarré y senté a mi hermano, mi hermano es sacerdote de la Iglesia Católica”, cuenta, y se ríe con picardía.
“Le dije ‘mirá Freddy, voy a empezar a hacer porno’. Y él me contestó: ‘Es lo único que te falta’”, casi sin sorpresa. Marco sonríe amorosamente cuando habla de él: “Es hermoso”, dice después. “Tenemos diferencias inzanjeables que nos definen y muchas veces nos oponen, pero yo respeto profundamente su fe, sus creencias y su manera de vivir la vida, y él también la mía”, explica.
Distinto fue contarla a sus padres “porque a ver, si mi hermano es sacerdote imaginate cómo es el resto de mi familia. Mi viejo hace Derecho Penal, mi vieja hace Derecho de familia, los dos son abogados. Y sí, a los dos les pareció muy fuerte, les pareció tremendo”.
Frente a su papá, Marco puso en primer plano la cuestión económica: “Le dije ‘mirá papá, estoy haciendo esto y me está generando estas ganancias. Hago una proyección con esto, si me armo un buen equipo…’. A mí me gustan mucho las finanzas y me di cuenta de la proyección que tenía”.
¿A qué se refería? “Un mes malo, por ejemplo febrero, que me fui de vacaciones y prácticamente no le di pelota, puedo ganar entre 10.000 y 12.000 dólares. Un mes bueno 20 o más, 25.000 dólares”, dice Marco, se ríe del silencio que se genera en la entrevista y acaricia al gato.
¿Qué dijo su papá? “No le gustó porque bueno, creo que también en esa generación importa mucho lo que las demás personas piensen”. Frente a su mamá Marco no pronunció la palabra “porno” y habló “desde el plano emocional”.

“Claro, porque más allá del rendimiento económico es algo que yo disfruto, me encanta. A ella le dije que iba a empezar a vender contenido erótico por Internet. Y no, no le agradó para nada la idea. Ella tenía más que nada miedo por mi seguridad”.
Marco también habló con su hija, que va a la primaria, después de que a la mamá de la nena le llegara un video y le preguntara: “¿Qué estás haciendo? ¿qué van a decir sus compañeritos?”.
“Senté a mi hija y se lo dije, obviamente con palabras traducidas a su edad pero con un mensaje de fondo: ‘Mirá, papá está orgulloso de lo que hace y no tiene miedo de lo que las personas piensen. Este es el mensaje que te quiero dar: vos tenés que hacer lo que vos quieras, frente al mundo y a pesar del mundo’”.
Porno bisexual y a la carta
“Vos no vas a poder generar en Only Fans lo mismo que una mujer”. Ese fue uno de los primeros comentarios que Marco escuchó. “Yo le contesté a esa persona ‘no, estoy seguro de que no: puedo generar más que una mujer”.
¿Cómo? “Es que mi contenido rompe mucho con la norma. No es un contenido que sea netamente hétero y tampoco es un contenido netamente gay. Yo hago porno hétero, hago porno gay y hago porno bisexual también”.
Y es acá donde traza una línea gruesa entre la industria del porno mainstream -comandada por grandes productoras internacionales-, y el porno “auto gestionado” como el que hace él, sin jefes y con otras historias para contar.
“El porno industrial te muestra el contenido totalmente patriarcal, donde el hombre cosifica a la mujer, o el contenido gay, prácticamente de plástico. La gente bisexual es la eterna olvidada en todo esto”, describe. “A ver: sí existe el porno bisexual cuando es un hombre y dos mujeres, esa es una fantasía totalmente aceptada. Pero no hay porno en el que un hombre esté por igual con una mujer y con un varón”.
Marco sabe que esto, puntualmente, le dio “una ventaja competitiva” en Only Fans. “Porque una chica solamente le puede vender a hombres heterosexuales, está estudiado que son los únicos que pagan, las mujeres no compran contenido erótico. De 100 personas que le compran videos a una chica, 99 son hombres”.
La ecuación es simple: “Yo hago videos en los que tengo sexo con una o varias mujeres. Entonces, todas esas personas heterosexuales que le compran a las chicas también me compran a mi. También hago videos sólo con hombres, por lo que me compran un montón de personas gays. Y como tengo muchos contenidos con chicos y chicas al mismo tiempo, el colectivo bisexual lo agradece”.
Only Fans tiene 130 millones de usuarios en el mundo y 20 millones de “creadores” como Marco. “Muchísimos pero en este momento mi única competencia en Only Fans en el mundo bisexual son un español y un yanqui”.

“Es un trabajo full time, nada que genere estos réditos es fácil. Yo me tomo semanas enteras solo para grabar. Vamos viendo qué queremos: por ejemplo, hicimos un video porno en el Lollapalooza, uno en un McDonald ‘s. Otros más estrafalarios, en un helicóptero. Cuando queremos hacer algo más en formato peli nos buscamos un hotel, un Airbnb: tenemos que responder una estética, no se puede ver el jabón del baño de tu casa”.
Marco lo sabe: con tantos videos en las redes, el camino que eligió no tiene retorno. “Es un tatuaje, lo sé. Estoy siempre consciente de que la posibilidad de arrepentimiento existe”, dice. “Pero yo prefiero vivir una vida en la que llegue a viejo y, antes de morirme, esté contento de que me animé a hacer todo lo que quería. Prefiero arrepentirme que algún día pensar en mí mismo y decir ¿qué hubiese pasado si...?”.
Su plan es, desde el año que viene, dedicarse a hacer solamente contenido internacional y abrir nuevos nichos de mercado, a solas o en conjunto con otras figuras -varones y mujeres- del porno autogestivo mundial.
