Non-Sexy post of the day! "Exciting times" around our household, as hubby tested Covid positive yesterday. He's doing fine, his fever finally broke after two days and he's feeling tons better. I have his same symptoms (chest, head, throat), minus his fever and body aches, but tested negative. I'm taking another test tonight to double check... and because I just love shoving a swab up into my brain! LOL The worst part is not being able to work for 5 days, and since we are self-employed, no sick pay... but that's part of the deal in owning our own business. Hubby is already stir-crazy, and is outside washing my new-to-me car, even though I told him to just rest. Stubborn Irishman! For those that might be curious, yes were are both double-vaxxed and boosted (booster 8 months ago). We were just getting ready to get a second booster. The new variants/mutations are busting through the vax, but hubby is a science nerd who absorbs studies and data, and he feels that there is overwhelming evidence that, with these new variants, the goal isn't as much to prevent getting Covid, but they are proving to lessen the severity and reduce chances of hospitalization.
