I remember looking in the eyes of my co-star Casia & falling in love. Like, in the moment with the camera in front of me I felt such a rise in my heart & connection to my costar that the feelings of the character sent butterflies through my soul & thatās when I was likeā¦ Um, I wanna keep acting.
I originally only took on the role to kinda copy off my friend @AlyssWinkler š (because sheād been acting for a year or two by then & I thought it was so fucking cool she wasnāt scared to speak in front of a camera) & just see if I could even do it. I know I donāt seem like it, but Iām actually super weird, shy & stuck in my head in person. Itās only when Iām pretending to be someone else that I can come out of my shellā¦ Thus, ITāS ALL THEATER BABY! š

Back to real life todayā¦ I must drive back home from Louisville to Evansville to perform a haircut on my one male regular hair cutting client (who I adore) & start to work on my lines for filming more of āDebbie Does Demonsā in less than two weeks.
And I have to figure out if I will have to move soon. We got more paper work about that recently & it makes no sense to me nor my neighbor. Yikes. But thatās life right? Thereās really no certainties. Thereās only the illusion of stability.

Today is kinda a shit show. You know I had a shoot planned this weekendā¦ Well Iām now waiting to find out if my best friend who I was with yesterday & whoās been in my house sleeping in my bed & taking care of my cat the whole time I was in Houstonā¦ Has fucking covid.
Everyone at her work has it & honestly Iām pretty sure my upstairs neighbor has it. I can smell the pot smoke leaking down here in my apt coming from his apt all day everyday, so why would it be so far fetched that I might be breathing in his covid too? Ugh. Iām about done with this.
But it has to be taken seriously because I was going to drop my dog off at my momās to watch him while I shoot & then I planned on going back there to spend the 4th with her. And she takes oral chemo pills to fight the breast cancer from coming backā¦ So she is definitely immunocompromised.
Sheās also the only person that can keep my dog rn. I do not like taking him to the place I usually take him. That woman is a breeder & keeps her dogs all in kennels in the back of an extra house she owns. It only has a crappy window air unit up front where the dogs arenāt. She also puts a pinch collar on him when Iāve asked her not to. It makes him cough for days after he has it on. And heās always filthy & smelly when I get it from over there.
So yeahā¦ I hope my bestie doesnāt test positive cause that will lock me in my apt for about a week. Which I might need, tbh. Iām so run ragged right now from my constant travels. Boohoo for me, right? š

Today was a recoup of my soul. I drove home from Louisville in the AM & then got my lashes done. Then I got the Thursday special at Red Lobster with my friends still in my pajamas from last night. Just what the doctor ordered!!!

Iām back in the Midwest finally!!! Just landed here in Louisville this morning. About to head back to Evansville in a moment.
During my travels yesterday I started studying this play called āVenus in Furā. Itās kind of a play about BDSM but without any actual BDSM. More like a power play between an actress auditioning for a play & the director who obviously has some severe issues with women.
I started studying it because my local community theater is putting it on this season & I really want the role of the girl auditioning. Itās just a two person play so Iād have to be just right for the part. And hopefully have the availability to participate. My traveling for movie roles kinda cockblocks me from being able to do a lot of theater. But honestly I wouldnāt have it any other way!
