❤️ People promote positive amazing happy lifestyles on social media, I know because I follow them too. Yet, none of them take the time to promote mental health and well-being. They do they take the time to appear vulnerable, that’s the thing though isn’t it? People don’t want to be vulnerable. We do not want to appear vulnerable. Yet sometimes we do feel that way. This is why it is important to talk about how we feel in the good times and especially more so in the bad times. We are not gonna feel 100% every single goddamn day - And this is why I am taking the time to tell you that it is okay to not feel okay. However, It’s not okay to shut down revel in it, ruminate in it, and let it negatively impact your life - This is where you take charge of how you feel and utilise the people and professionals around you. There are so many people in this world the care and give a shit about you. You might not see it but there is despite what your mind will tell you. So if you feel shit, down sad, you’ve lost your sparkle, Link in with the most amazing people around you, your friends, your family, your doctor, your work colleagues - people will listen to you if you are going through a tough time - I promise you they will. I know that there are people here that feel exactly the same, so do some self-care, do you things that make you feel good, do you think that will help your mind.
