i’m not sure how many of you know (or are interested in the ..
i’m not sure how many of you know (or are interested in the the fact) that i babysit regularly. i don’t call myself a nanny bc i never take full-time, long-term jobs for myriad reasons, but the two families i work for most have boys with down syndrome. the family i’m with this and next week has 3 kids aged 1, 5, and 7, the oldest of which has extra chromosomes in all of his cells. this job is mentally and physically *demanding.* i’m working there for 11 hours each day this week, and just today i cried twice🙃 i’m not sure why i felt you needed to know this but it’s ***hard*** and *i don’t want to do it!* but i’m not the type to leave the mom high and dry when she has no other options so i will stick with it and just keep crying if i have to💪🏼 words of encouragement and $ for therepeutic sorbet always appreciated💕
