HOUSEWARMING STREAM! As most of you know already, I used to stream on here quite frequently - but over the past 4 months I’ve been back living with my family so I haven’t been able to. UNTIL NOW 😋 I’m super excited to spend some time with you guys! I’ve got a bunch of games planned! Not only have I missed having creative freedom in my own space but not being able to stream has had a huge impact on my monthly income, as you can imagine. The face of a very happy bean, relieved of so much stress 🥺 For those of you that have been around since the beginning, you’ll know I was living in Canada when I started this! I moved there after a heartbreak and it was definitely the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. But among the fun I was having making new friends there was always a huge amount of stress that was looming over me! For the first year I struggled a lot - among all the memories I was making I knew there was special people coming into my life that I’d eventually be separated from, I was living out of a suitcase for around the first year and moved house 5 times that year (from staying in Vancouver, to my hostel in whistler, to 3 different houses). The main thing I really struggled with was never feeling like I could put roots down. Even upon moving back to Australia and being in Sydney I knew it was temporary so I was still in suitcases and boxes waiting to move to Melbourne. The feeling of getting the keys to my place here was so surreal. I feel like I can breathe properly again! I went from being a makeup artist living in a big city to moving to a mountain town and bar tending/ serving (which was a great way to make new friends) but I swore to myself at 18 I’d never work in hospo again 😂) I was living pay check to pay check for almost the entire 2.5 years I lived overseas with lots of debt - but I knew I wanted to save up for a house. Looking back over the last five years, I used to be quite superficial in a way. (Especially working in the makeup and beauty industry) I got my hair done every 6 weeks, nails and more. The WHOLE time I lived in Canada, I didn’t spend a penny on myself. I got my hair done twice in those 2.5 years and never got those little pick-me-up treatments like lashes or nails. But I also learnt how to love the REAL me. Anyway, I’m sorry for writing a big paragraph 😂 but it feels nice to have a permanent roof over my head for the first time in years and feel like I can grow here. I’m so damn fucking excited to share the next few months with you. From Wednesday night this week I should be spending my first official night in my new home (after I figure out how to drag my mattress up the stairs by myself 😂) Thank you for sticking by me and continuing to support my work through all of this. You have no idea how grateful I am. ❤️

I have some exciting news 🥺 My Melbourne permit got accepted!!! I impulsively bought a flight tomorrow because I’m so scared the border will shut again and I’ll be stuck in Sydney longer! My test results today were negative and I just need to get tested again when I arrive in Melbourne and self isolate until those results too! I’m so happy 😭💓 I’m one step closer to being in my own space again!! I’ll be crashing on my brothers couch for a few days while I arrange some furniture etc, and then get ready for the grand naked aki house tour 🥺💓 I seriously can’t thank you enough if you’ve stuck around during this weird time since I’ve been back home. It’s been hard to make content at my parents place so I really appreciate it and you will reap the rewards soon!!! 💓💓💓
