Another late post today and a little update: Luna isnβt doing too great. My heart is hurting so much ππ. I was really hoping to have her home with me today but there were some complications with her surgery. The vet called me at 3am last night and told me they opened her up but couldnβt find what they thought they would, they couldnβt find anything. They think itβs passed through her (whatever it was) but I donβt understand how they donβt know that for sure π. She had troubles after her surgery upon waking up and was very sick, throwing up a lot and not handling it well. She has now also formed ileus due to her abdominal surgery. They have taken her for an additional cat scan tonight but sheβs still hospitalized at the moment. Luka wonβt stop looking around the house for her π I think itβll be another 24 hours atleast until sheβs potentially given the all clear to come home but it seems like one thing after another keeps happening. So far my bills exceed over $9500 and thereβs not an end in sight. I am truly beyond devastated this has happened - and I know doing the surgery was probably the best thing in case but I just canβt believe they didnβt even find anything after telling me there was definitely something there and I still have to forfeit the cost. Looks like there may be an obstruction of some sorts in her stomach and intestines. Sheβs undergoing surgery and will be staying there for at least another 24 hours afterwards for monitoring. They said theyβd call me after the surgery but I havenβt heart anything yet π€ My house has never felt so empty π

Just got back to our accomodation from a big day of snowboarding!
