This thing hurts but luckily I only have to wear it at night. Apparently not everybody needs this but often people do. It’s a very tight strap designed to push the implants down into position. It’s common. I have to wear it at night with no bra (luckily I still have Percocet). During the day I just have to wear a sports bra now. The doctor is going to see me again next week. One thing I forgot to mention earlier was the air bubbles you may or may not notice after your surgery. They’re totally normal. It sounds like gurgling but should go away within a couple weeks although my air is pretty much totally gone. I have pain in my back from all these devices but nothing too serious. It’s just achy. I’m happy to not have to wear the ace bandage anymore!!!

It’s day 3 post op. I’m feeling very good. Most of my pain is gone. I still have some bruising on my sternum - it’s a little sore. Since my shower yesterday, I have to wear a sports bra & my ace bandage. I’ve been taking the bandage on and off because it’s the only thing that gives me pain. I go in for my post op checkup tomorrow and I can’t wait for the doctor to see them. I think he’s gonna be very happy. I can’t wait until I’m cleared to not wear the bandage anymore.

I love them! Once the implants fall into their pocket, they’re going to be perfect. I go in tomorrow for post op check up & they will also teach me the massages there. Massaging helps avoid capsular contracture (most common negative side effect of breast implants) & it helps to get the implants into their pockets

Today the pain is much much better. I’m not taking pills back to back and I’m able to stretch my arms without it hurting. Tbh I did not expect the type of pain I was having yesterday but it seems to be going away quickly. I can’t wait to see them on the morning!! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. 😊

Update: I’m in a little bit of pain but nothing too serious. It hurts less if I sit up. Today I’m supposed to rest and do nothing else & tomorrow I’m expected to move around to avoid clots. I’m not allowed to shower until Wednesday & that will be the first time I see them!! My biggest concern with Brest augmentation was where my nipple might wind up, but I can feel them through the bandage & I think they’re gonna be perfect 🥰
