**How a bathtub works**
I had promised content….but then I picked up and started to travel for work and have had a moment to make content! My bad!!! Headed back to Portugal tomorrow (flight departs Los Angeles in a few hours). Somehow across 3 states in 4 days this is the only photo I snapped.

It's about being present, less about rushing through an itinerary of must see/do's.

I spent the last few months filming this short film for "*my other w3bsite*". I filmed all myself, across multiple destinations, and properties, and travel moments in Portugal since the winter. I shot with drone and on real super8mm film, which I had to have processed, scanned and digitized. I am proud of how it turned out. I think it conveys the travel sentiment I feel.

**mini-vlog** for you patient people now that I’m feeling better. the last 2 weeks I had PNEUMONIA and I finally feeling almost back to myself. long healing process still ahead but no longer on my death bed. I’m on my **regular bed** and showing you how a real girl gets it done. Lazy style!!! 😌
HEALTH UPDATE:
Day 11 of being gross x Day 4 of antibiotics = zapping that thing!! I’m feeling worlds better. My symptoms are much less, almost no fluids coming off my lungs anymore, and cough only really bad at mornings/night. I got some of my sense of taste back! My sense of smell is still MIA though. My infection had been so advanced that it transferred to my ears. The eardrum pain is gone (bless!) but my hearing in left ear hasn’t returned yet.
Thank you for your continued patience while my body is healing and I’m only focusing on rest. I’m grateful you are here with me. If you haven’t scrolled through the hours and hours of media and 1000+ videos and photos in the archive, I recommend. xx

**LIFE UPDATE**
I had to go to the Emergency Room today.
This head cold/lung infection/bronchitis/Covid/influenza *or whatever is happening* with me (my doctor didn’t diagnose just prescribed meds) had become so advanced today I almost passed out today while trying to stand up to get myself a glass of water. Chest palpitations and cold sweats. Hacking up a lung. Lots of fluids coming out of my face region. This infection had become advanced enough to move to my ears (the throat/nose/ears are all a connected system) and I had developed a painful earache and poor hearing. inflamed very red eardrums.
The last few days a few of **my bestest fans** were in the messages here demanding I take myself to see the doctor (*thank you for the care and concern*) and I had promised to go on Tuesday. But this afternoon my symptoms were so intense I had get to the hospital ASAP.
If I wasn’t so socially anxious x stubborn I could have been on the antibiotics I was prescribed sooner. It’s actually a little more complex than that. This is the very first time I have ever had health insurance as an adult. Literally. The last time I had health insurance and access to proper care for my wellness, I was a tëenagėr and still lived at home. The American health care system is so whack and so cost prohibitive.
Old habits die hard. so when it came time to actually utilize the health care system I have insurance for in Portugal, I didn’t know how to. Literally. I’ve just never done it before.
the last week I had just reverted back to how I’ve survived the last 20 years without insurance. Holistic remedies and rest and fluids. Thank Christ for antibiotics though.
My first hospital since moving abroad. The visit today cost me €17 for exam and €10 for 3 prescriptions. For scale: in the USA the same hospital visit + meds would have cost anywhere between $400-$800 dollars.
How good it is to have access to healthcare. Thanks europe.

Hi lovers. Apologies for the radio-silence on here this is week. I was in London for a convention last weekend not posting much because I was traveling x busy) but while I was in London, I caught a bad chest infection.
I have always had a strong immune system, it’s something I have bragged about in fact. I only get sick maybe once or twice per year, but when I do… It takes me the fuck out!
I am very sick. in fact, I can’t remember a time I had a cold, flu, infection this bad. The stuff I am coughing up off my lungs, is red. So that means the infection is quite advanced. Worse, I’m running out of my stash of strong American meds. I would give anything to get my hands on more DayQuil, but I live in Europe and our medications here leave a lot to be desired. 4 days bed ridden…it feels like it might be a while longer. I’m one of those people who refuses to go the doctor unless I’m legit dying (aka I never go) and instead just suffer through it.
I haven’t been to see a doctor about an illness in nearly a decade, but I’m sick enough currently that I’m considering making an appointment.

I spent the last 4 days in Spain, to celebrate a beloved who got married. An industry friend I’ve know for a very long time. The Spanish party HARD fyi. I mean, hard! I wasn’t prepared, honestly. a few weeks ago I posted a campaign to help me buy window film treatments. I haven’t felt comfortable or safe or like I have any privacy in my home because of how directly all my neighbors can see into my house. Within hours the campaign was funded. The materials arrived. I’ve installed. Today was first time checking to see if the one-way reflective mirror coating on my windows **actually works**….
I think it does! While taking these photos, me pointing that bushy thing directly at the sun coming through windows - one of the neighbors **directly across** from my windows was walking around their kitchen, talking on the phone. Given the fact he never stopped and stared my direction - I think the window treatments work!!! YAY!! I am so pleased to have a bit more privacy. Now that I know it works, I might install it on ALL my windows and French doors.
