My friend stopped his humming, hugged me and left. I went straight to my bedroom, turned on the lights and tiredly, for it was 2am, danced out the emotion. The mirror signified letting go of the reflections people see you as. I’m not sharing this for affirmation or comfort. My purpose is to let you in on what my inner processes look like and what embodying an emotion looks like for me. Big shoutout to two maybe-humans but probably beyond humans @aly_exhale who’s dance with mirrors inspired this set up and @cyberpunkgirl who incorporates neon rope lights like this one in the kinkiest aesthetic I’ve ever seen.
