Apparently ya'll really like to see me sweatπŸ˜‚ Boxing at 6am. I'm actually walking in about 5.30am when he's turning on the lights to get in 20+min on elliptical. I crank up the resistance to work on my tight ass πŸ˜‰πŸ˜†. 1st 15min is cardio & getting warm. 8- 3min rounds & last 15min is all core. 😁 I do this religiously 3days/wk... just shy of 8yrs now. Yes, I ❀ it! Great sweat & certainly a way to work out frustrations of daily life...I've had enough of these past several years! πŸ™„ Hope you enjoy your dayπŸ˜™

Got to spend more time on the paddleboard today...totally my happy place! Toby loves it too! My day started with boxing class. It helps to get out some irritated feelings. Just zoning out & focusing in on those powerful punches. Fyi...if the bag swings too much it means your pushing that bag with your punch. The objective is to have a very powerful & quick punch.

Yes, that is 50lb dumbbell on my chest. Oh...so this probably didn't help the hamstrings, but I deadlifted 185lbs 😁. My legs were shaking and I bruised the left palmπŸ™„...maybe I should strap-in next time😜🀣. After the lifts, I couldn't do anymore at that weight so dropped 50 lbs off & did another 10 liftsπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

Strained my left hamstring. Broke out the biofreeze! Thought I could get away just running a little on treadmill after strength training session, but only got in .5 mi in 8min. Figured if I was going that slow might as well take my boxer for a jog around the neighborhoods. Did just over 1.5 mi in 20min...not too shabby since he'd been on injured reserve πŸ˜„. Humidity was lower too so good morning for a run😁. Now need help loosening up this hamstring😫...taking volunteers to massage it out for meπŸ˜‹. Have an awesome day y'all!

Good morning πŸ™ƒ! Other than tomatoes, my garden is pretty much done...or so I thought check out the size of the zucchini 😳!!! It was a volunteer plant (basically something that comes up from compost). Honestly, thought it was another spaghetti squash. I was super surprised. However, the only thing to do with it is shred it & make zucchini bread or double chocolate zucchini bread (basically tastes like brownies πŸ˜‹). I'd have to take it into work tho as I gave up excess sugars 3 yrs ago.

Boxing class this morning. No...NOT a fan of the music, but it is what it isπŸ™„.I do love the sound of gloves hitting the bag! This trainer's class isn't as intense as weekday trainer. 🀫 don't tell him I said that 🀭. I workout 7 days/wk so I use this class as my recovery time. πŸ˜„ Ok...shouldn't blame it all on the trainer. I could up my game too. No water time😒 way too hot for Toby plus I need to meal & snack prep. Oh the fun you get to miss out onπŸ˜„.

Difficult workout today. 2 rounds 25 reps. I went longer than usual, mostly due to the weight & # of reps. Tho as you can see with the HR monitor I still get in a great workout! Checkout those arm muscles during the split squats...shit...even I am impressed with myself πŸ˜„. Have a great weekend. Think I'm paddleboarding with Toby later.

Second round I opted for S-R-J vs burpees😬. πŸ€” I'm wondering how sore I'll be. Oh, in case you're wondering...yes, I sleep in workout clothes...ZERO EXCUSES!!!

Awesome boxing workout. My Fitbit said my max heart rate was 195...I think it lied to me🀣. Tho I do know it was up there. Went overboard on the pics. Will say some things aren't as large as they appear πŸ˜‚...I don't think my arm muscles are as big. I still think they look chunky when they are resting at my side😬. You can see the calves firing away again. 1 hr boxing & 20min on elliptical 😁
