I awoke with Annabelle sleeping peacefully beside me. I quietly got up to use the bathroom and that's when I noticed her husband asleep on the living room couch.
Slipping back into bed, Annabelle stirred, opening her eyes and rolling over to cuddle with me. We started up a light conversation and shared a few tender kisses.
