That reminds me of a funny pie story... One time, long long ago, I had an angry husband and he had two good friends over. I had bought a "mud pie" for dessert and as I was about to walk out over from the kitchen, it slipped out of my hands and went SPLAT on the floor... basically exploding all over the floor... I was afraid that he would be very very upset that I had ruined the desert, so.... I quickly scooped it all up and put it back in the pie tin! I cleaned up the floor, and walked the messy floor pie to the dining room with a big grin! "And for dessert, we have deconstructed mud pie!" I announced. "Deconstructed" versions of everything were very hot on the cuisine scene at the time. Everyone ate the pie, thought it was delicious, did not notice the cat hairs, and no one was sick. I am certain they gained immunity points from this incident and would consider it a blessing in disguise for all involved. They never knew that they are floor pie.
