She is life and death. Darkness and light. She is the human experience and soul experience. We cannot drink in the mystery through the embrace of only the light, but through swimming in the watery depths of darkness. Darkness is not bad. Darkness is darkness, sacred. We all encompass both, and when we embrace this we release the shackles of shame. When we understand it in others we connect more deeply. More vulnerably.
