These five pics I took with the intention of testing if I could "fool" algorithmic biases, e.g. cisheteronormativity & "clean" aesthetics; and if it would have increased my views and visibility. To me these pictures are more utility rather than art. I really want to eventually take a full photo shoot that plays into this cultural, algorithmic, and economic censorship of queerness, a silent exclusion of sorts. My hypothesis is that the photoshoot would have co-opted the aesthetics that are algorithmically pushed whilst itself pushing a subversive queer narrative.
