Added 2023-05-07 08:50:30 +0000 UTCADVENTURE REPORT (Raja Ampat Day 5) wildlife spotting a today: dolphins swimming nearby fins out of the water two sea turtles well camouflaged in the coral an Eagle ray swimming towards me lots of big chunky colorful fish LOTS of jellyfish floating towards me under the boat 🤩 Favorite moment of today…. I road on the ocean current like the migrating turtles in finding Nemo!!!! It’s so fun! it’s the closest thing to actually flying I’ve ever experienced. Just relax the whole body and soar at a pretty high speed suspendes in liquid space. Soooo fun! Also hard to turn or get out of it so that was a little thrilling. At the end when we wanted to exit, Arno throw a hook into the ground and it was attached to a rope we hung onto. I held the rope so tight because the ocean was pulling my body very hard into her belly. Haha if I’d let go of my trip on the rope I would have flown away…like a space movie haha so exciting. I tightened my grip and relaxed the rest of my body and just enjoyed the sensation of high speed water rushing along my body from head to feet. Such a rush…literally. Now watching the sunset on the roof of the boat. Warm lovely evening breeze. Missing the coziness of seattle when the days here are swelteringly hot and sticky. We’re stationed near a village, staying on the boat though, 100m away from the coral restoration project. So far just doing training dives with Arno to improve my technique before we touch any coral. BOOK UPDATE: wrote a scene about dragon caves and a girly tea party on a pirate ship, introduced fairies ✌🏼 Love Cha
