What’s the main driver behind having an OnlyFans? The money? Enjoy being watched? The attention? The compliments? Is the answer different between you two? --> Its a combination of all of it. I might be wrong about the timing but around late summer, early fall of 2019, Alex uploaded few quick clips from our private collection to PH because he likes "show me off" sometimes. We both a little exhibitionistic. I expected few hundred views at most but started receiving thousands of view and comments and emails. Initially, I sort of liked the attention and compliments (everyone like compliments). Around a month or so into it, someone sent us an email suggesting registering to the "model program". I never thought of it but we decided give it a go. We would occasionally upload a clip and would make around $100 a month from ad revenue share. It was my "shoes money" and nothing serious. Then, one of our videos hit featured status and received over a million of views which was crazy and the ad revenue that month was higher. It was not life changing or anything but still a nice side revenue stream we used to partially pay for couple of trips. I still was enjoying the attention and going up the ranks on PH. At the peak, I had over 10 million views and was ranked pretty high which spoke to my competitive side. Someone emailed us and told us we should start an OnlyFans but we shut down the idea partially because we were happy on PH and mostly because of laziness (and not knowing what OF is). Then around March last year, PH cracked down on my payments and froze my account (they still owe me money I will never see) because the guys appearing in our video did not sign a "performer release form". It when we decided give OF a chance and were pleasantly surprised on how easy it is to use and pretty fun to cultivate a "community". Also, despite OF taking 20% of everything, the monthly revenue is pretty steady and is a good side gig. I save about 70% and the rest is used to partially pay for some of the trips we take. We both have good careers and Alex makes great income so we in no way rely on this money, but it is now at a level that is high enough for us both wanting to maintain it coming to put it aside. I am still enjoying the compliments and Alex still likes showing me off, but probably would not have put as much effort into it if it was not financially beneficial. Honest answer.
