I sometimes encounter guys in bars but mostly I use traditional dating apps. On average, I match with about 150 guys throughout the year (20 or so / month). Many of the matches happen while traveling. Approximately half never pass the most basic maturity and good manners test. I unmatch them. Then, when chatting, other issues might come up that make me lose interest in a guy. I unmatch them too. After aligning of expectations, I invite about 40 guys throughout the year to grab a drink. Approximately half flake the last minute for whatever reasons. Then, approximately a third of the guys I meeet with for a drink, I do not feel a connection with them in person and I do not invite them over. Lastly about one in four of the guys I do invite over "malfunctions" for one reason or another, so the encounter goes nowhere.
