Sweat it out! Ok, just so I don’t get shit for this, I made this video and this HUUUUGE comment (I’m well aware, no need to bring it up) for those of you that were asking me what my workout routine looks like. Well, here ya go... Here are two of my favorite exercise to do in general. Squatting and deadlifting are two great ways to get stronger legs but it’s a full body workout at the same time, remember that. Bracing yourself, holding your body in place as you carry the movement ain’t no joke. But lets brake down the movements in a simpler form for those of you at home that are actually intrigued. Squatting is simple. Don’t believe me? I had a client once when I was a trainer back in nyc that told me he’d never squat. I could help myself to wonder; then how does he take a shit? Everyone often complicates a movement in attempt to perfect it, such as trying to help a friend or a client telling them; “drive your knees out, drive your heels down, push off the floor, etc” but these “tips” can often distract and unmotivate us. Yes those are all great things to keep in mind as you squat, but when it comes down to it, squatting is just a simple movement of sitting down, and standing up. Deadlift on the other hand is the opposite movements. Deadlift is simply picking something off the floor. I’ll explain more thoroughly as we go along.
