Have you heard of the Fomorians? 🌊 They are an evil spirit from Irish Mythology. They are often described as one-eyed, one-armed and one-legged ugly creatures that possess incredible magical powers and cause all sorts of trouble for people! The Fomorians live in the otherworldly world of Sid, where their cities, fortresses and rulers are located 🏔️ But the most interesting thing is that the Fomorians are not actually ugly, but on the contrary, very beautiful, eloquent and skilled in various arts✨ Their terrible appearance is dictated by the fact that they can only partially incarnate in our world. Many Fomorians were women and even their otherworldly world of Sid in some sense had a basic aspect of femininity. These unusual creatures were not always at odds with people: there are known cases when the Fomorians entered into peaceful alliances with people, traded and even got married 💒 In the end, the Fomorians, tired of battles and human expansion, went underground, literally or figuratively... And this is very interesting, since it strongly echoes another myth, widespread throughout northern and central Russia - this is the myth of the White-Eyed Chud! A race of humanoid creatures, very similar to us in appearance, but much more developed, refined and powerful. All these legends agree on one thing: In the end, the White-Eyed Chud went underground to hide for a while, and then at one point they will return back!!!
