Although I knew that buying more things wouldn't make me happy, I still found myself constantly buying more and more. I realized that consumerism had become a habit for me, something I did without even thinking about it. It wasn't until I took a step back and examined my behavior that I was able to break free from its chains. Instead of focusing on buying new things, I started focusing on experiences and personal growth. This change in perspective helped me to be more aware of the consumerism trap and empowered me to resist it more often.
