Added 2023-08-01 22:42:01 +0000 UTCI used to always look for someone else to tell me I was good enough, smart enough, pretty enough. No matter how many compliments I got, I still felt like crap. I realized that I was chasing a mirage, a false sense of happiness that depended on other people’s opinions. I decided to change and to love myself, flaws and all. I found a new level of peace and joy within myself, a happiness that no one could take away from me. Now, I’m proud of who I am, and I don’t need anyone else to validate me. Self-love is the most powerful thing in the world.
