Added 2024-02-23 00:55:09 +0000 UTCI’m in Austin TX paying my respects to someone really special to me who is no longer with us 💔 I’ve never told you about my mentor in Texas who taught me everything that I know. He helped me network with all of my PR and Media colleagues which is really what helped me get noticed and on the map. Before he passed we caught up about what I’ve been doing with my career since we worked more closely together. He told me that I was special and that he always knew I would do at least one thing on a large scale. He wasn’t thrilled that I chose to focus my talents on this platform. He asked me “if you had known you would have gotten this famous doing anything else would you still have chosen this medium?” It broke my heart because I don’t know if the answer is yes. A part of me really wants to just run away and go recreate myself into something else but I also feel like a stone will be left unturned if I back out now. I still have unfinished business here and now I feel like I have something to prove. Thank you for being patient with me while I work on myself 🫶
