I suppose I should start from the beginning
- at a pretty age, I found myself working as a children's aerial gymnastics coach. I truly believed it was my calling, and to be honest, those thoughts still linger in my mind. But sometimes life, or maybe fate, decides to throw its own curveballs into our plans.
COVID-19, the heavy costs of university tuition, and a toxic, unemployed boyfriend - these were the things that pushed me into living a double life. My first step was taking a job at a strip club. To my surprise, I quickly fell in love with the job itself. Me, the center of attention — sounds like a dream, doesn't it? But when you take off the rose-colored glasses, you see that it comes with a price🤯
There's always the risk of dealing with crazy men who you can never fully predict. And the whole time, I was weighed down with the knowledge that by day, I had to remain the perfect student and a respectable children's coach, while by night, I became a "therapist" for tipsy strangers in the dim lights of a club.
Living this double life came with a toll: little sleep, constant anxiety, and a slowly breaking spirit. After seven exhausting months of this routine, my nervous system finally started to crack. During that time, I also went through a tough breakup and lost nearly all my friends. Not a single day went by when I felt truly safe, or at peace.
Strangely enough, the only place I found any comfort was in my bed, and my vibrator became my only solace, the one thing that could calm the endless rush of my thoughts.
