Ernst Fuchs was one of the founder members of the Viennese School of Fantastic Realism. The female figure Queen Esther in front of his private museum at the Fuchs Villa is a particularly fine example of his art. She stands open-armed, welcoming people coming to immerse themselves in the fantastic world created by the artist. In this Otto Wagner-designed villa, elements of Viennese Art Nouveau are interspersed with erotic and surrealist art from the hand of Ernst Fuchs. Do you like seeing Vienna laid bare?
