Heaviest squats I've done in a long time! Started with very low weight, then I pyramid up, then back down. Why the Smith machine over traditional free weight? I can place my feet out in front of me, doing two things. It takes tremendous pressure off my knees. Also, by doing so, it places a majority of the weight towards my hamstrings and glutes; exactly what I want. All the other exercises, from the glute bridge, to hip abducti0n and so on, are all focusing on making a nice round bum 🍑
