Sunday Fun Post! This video is from a couple days ago, but shows me using a hangboard doing some pull ups. Hangboards have different sizes, shapes, and depths of holds or grips ranging from jugs to 2-finger pockets, slopers, etc. My feet don’t touch the ground until the end of the video and I like to challenge myself different ways when using this training tool. You’ll notice that when climbing and/or hanging I often drop one arm and shake it out. This helps disperse and slow down some of the lactic acid that begins to build in your muscles giving you that “pumped” feeling of not being able to hold on much longer. In certain instances of life we enjoy things getting pumped, but climbing isn’t one of them 🤭 When I’m hanging for max time and not doing pull ups it’s pretty impressive how long I can last up there 😉
