Ever since I was a little girl I have been one to focus on goals, plans, and dreams; always working towards what I thought would make me happy. I’ve found that some of the things that I achieved didn’t keep me happy, despite some being significant, even considered prestigious to many. Recently I decided to take a step back, to re-evaluate how I want my life to look, how I want to spend my time, and what my time is worth. My pursuit will be to stop chasing titles, stop trying to prove myself to people, and to make whatever changes need to happen to live the shirt … for my pursuit (of life) to be happy. I’ve started taking steps that add value to my time, to my existence, to my short term happiness, and my long term joy. If your pursuit isn’t happy, then maybe your pursuit wandered off in the wrong direction too. I’m not sure I have everything right, but I have set a new goal to pursue happy every chance I can. I’ve said it and I’m sharing it and I have set a goal to live it.
