Every now and then a rider is able to join a horse with a unique, unexplainable bond of complete unison, the rider atop a body so strong and powerful it feels fictitious. I am eternally grateful for the obedience and love this horse gives me in exchange for the life I have been granted to share with him. He gives me proof that I have done some good in my life to earn a spot next to him. For a horse who needs no added strength what a noble and generous gesture it is to have them allow any human to fly in the wind upon their back, to prance around an arena under the direction of subtle cues, and then to greet their person happily once returned to the freedom of their home pasture.
