

The sense of accomplishment that comes from reaching a goal is immeasurable, particular fitness goals. The process of setting a goal gives an opportunity to reflect on how we want to spend our time, then gives us motivation and accountability to encourage us to stick with a plan. Once we conquer the goal we earn a sense of pride and can celebrate that our controlled plan worked. When I registered for the half marathon I initially only wanted to be able to complete it. As I trained for longer I ultimately decided it was my goal to finish in under 2 hours. πββοΈGoal accomplished! ππ» Official time: 1:57:22 Thanks to all of my fans who helped me run along the way! And now a new goal begins to form. My next steps involve working on improving my time, stamina, endurance, and fitness, to eventually complete a full marathon!
