A lot has changed over the years in this sleepy seaside town, and so has the surrounding nature, especially after the huge fires that roared along the coast 2 years ago, or is it now 3? Recently, we were lucky to catch these incredible plants in bloom, part of the sweetpea family apparently - You have NEVER smelled anything like it in your life, the air was thick with their sweet scent. Bubblegum and candy floss and raw honey. On our last visit here, this path was ash. Now, it is a wonderful magical playground on a warm Summers afternoon. Felt like just a regular walk until this perfection presented itself to us. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to experience it
