Hey hey hey ๐Ÿ’• Have you already read the previous post on how..

Hey hey hey ๐Ÿ’•

Have you already read the previous post on how to live a full life and often not worry about the small things? ๐Ÿ˜Š Today I want to talk about a topic that probably worries every girl, especially one like me, who has never been in a relationship. Well you know it's all about "Should I be able to cook to please a guy?" ๐Ÿง

Honestly, I thought about this for a long time. On the one hand, everyone around me says: "A girl should be able to cook, it's a basic skill!" But on the other hand, I look at my friends who are already dating guys, and I understand that not everything is so clear-cut ๐Ÿซ

๐Ÿฅน Why is it generally believed that a girl "should" cook?

Well, like, historically it worked out that way: a woman is the keeper of the hearth, a man is the breadwinner. But, guys, we live in the 21st century! Why should I feel inferior if I can't grill steaks or bake pies? Although, of course, sometimes I think: what if it really matters? What if a guy looks at me and says: "What kind of woman is she if she can't even fry an egg?"

But then I remember that I have a dad who cooks better than my mom. He is a master of the grill. And I understand: wait, why should it be only me?

๐Ÿ™„ What do guys even think about this?

Of course, I'm not an expert, because I have zero experience in relationships. But I asked my friends, and they say that it all depends on the guy. Some really expect the girl to cook, and some take on this role themselves with pleasure. And you know what? I think it's cool when a guy can cook. It immediately adds +100 to his attractiveness, don't you agree? ๐Ÿ˜

But here's what I think: if we're talking about relationships, then it should be about reciprocity. That is, if I try to cook something, then I hope he will appreciate it. And if not, well, we will learn together.

๐Ÿ˜‚ My attempts in the kitchen

Honestly, I donโ€™t cook often. Well, at most, itโ€™s simple things like pasta or an omelet. Once I tried to bake muffins, and they turned out... letโ€™s say, not very good. ๐Ÿ˜‚ But I wasnโ€™t upset, because I realized: cooking is not about being perfect, but about trying, learning and having fun.

And you know whatโ€™s the best thing? When you cook something simple, but with soul, it already makes you closer to becoming an โ€œideal housewifeโ€. Although, honestly, I donโ€™t even know yet if I want to be one.

๐Ÿ˜ฑ So whatโ€™s the bottom line?

Dear men, if you are reading this, tell me honestly: is it really important to you that a girl can cook? Or is this just a stereotype that is long overdue to be broken?

And to the girls, I want to say: don't force yourself. If you like to cook, that's great! If not, that's okay too. The main thing is to be yourself and not be afraid to try something new.

And how do you feel about cooking? Share in the comments, I'm really interested! And, of course, don't forget to subscribe to my content - there is always something interesting and tasty here ๐Ÿ˜˜

P.S. If you want, I can share my "signature" pasta recipe. It's simple, quick and almost impossible to screw up. Well, almost ๐Ÿ˜
