Our pups rely on us to keep them safe, but did you know that..

Our pups rely on us to keep them safe, but did you know that many everyday household items can pose serious health risks to our pets?

Creating a toxin-free environment is essential for their long-term health and well-being. Here is a list of hidden toxins to keep out of our pets’ surroundings so let's all take proactive steps to ensure their safety!

Household Cleaners: Many conventional cleaning products contain harsh chemicals that have chemicals like bleach, ammonia, and formaldehyde, which can cause respiratory distress, skin irritation, and even organ damage if ingested or inhaled.
Human Foods: Chocolate, grapes, onions, and xylitol (a common sweetener found in peanut butter, sugar-free gum, and baked goods) are highly toxic to pets.
Lawn and Garden Products: Pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers often contain chemicals that are harmful to pets if they walk on treated grass or ingest plant material. *This is why I clean Mila's paws 5 or more times per day with dog shampoo!
Medications & Supplements: Even small doses of ibuprofen, acetaminophen, or certain essential oils can be dangerous to pets.
Houseplants: Popular plants like lilies, pothos, and aloe vera can be toxic if nibbled on by a curious cat or dog.

Did you know about all of these toxins?
