It ended up running to a more major road, all the cars stopped and one tried to get out and help but it ran from them. I pulled my car more to the side out of the way, got back out and someone hit the little pup and took off. I was devastated. My friend and I went back, picked him up (almost got hit in the road at the same time from some asshole) and took him to an emergency vet. To get scanned for a microchip he didnt have and to hope the owners can claim his body. This is a tough holiday for dogs, especially small ones. Make sure they are secure and watch after them. This dog definitely didnt deserve this and it was scared up until its final moments.
