Can you face the darkest parts of you without having to look away ? Are you truly comfortable in your skin ? The good , the bad as well as the ugly ? Do you know what makes you tick ? or what truly makes you the happiest ? Are you able to separate yourself from your own twilight zone compared to this reality we live in ? Some days for myself the line is such a blur it’s hard to tell which universe I’m living in ... As I grow older things that use to bother me seem to shed like the molting of a snake .. I get more satisfaction out of the smallest things of life that cost little to nothing ... I’m learning it’s okay to let people get close to me .. that not everyone’s intentions are to hurt me , fuck me over or just to use me as they see wish. . . These photos were taken when I was on E. Running on no real sleep. Shooting all day. In cold temperatures. Been years since I was in front of camera .. even though I wasn’t expecting to get up and shoot ... all in all I’m glad I pulled through. I wouldn’t have these photos of proof that no matter how many times I’ve been kicked down and too tired to get back up that I GET THE FUCK UP. I show up. And I out do myself. That each day I become more powerful in my own world. . . . You’re unstoppable when you become aware of you really are as well as untouchable. . . . 📸 ; J. Marra
